Featured here is a remarkable oval ring setting with diamonds and custom cut rubies! This beautiful double halo setting is a classic Art Deco style design that is a very rare to find. This setting fits a oval stone from 7.5x5.5 to just under 8x6 at 7.9x5.9. 8x6 can potentially fit, it is an aggressive fit and not all setters are able to setting a stone like this as it would require carefully removing some metal around the bezel. An 8x6 can only fit if it is a diamond cut. This piece would also look great with a sapphire in the center and possibly finishing the piece with black rhodium. This piece is very special because each ruby was custom cut one at a time to fit in the channel with zero gaps. This is a very labor intensive job which is reflected in the beauty and rarity of the piece. The rubies are very high quality and have a vibrant color. Diamonds are set in a halo around the center with three additional to each sides of the ring. All of the diamonds are bright white and 100% clean to the naked eye with no visible imperfections. The diamonds are well cut and have fantastic sparkle! The ring is made from solid 14 karat white gold and weighs 4.1 grams. The measurements are 15.8mm across and 5.7mm from the finger to the top of the center setting. This is a lovely piece that we highly recommend to see in person.
